About Us

What separates WESTBORO TENNIS SURFACES from most tennis court companies is a combination of the tennis playing and technical background of the owners, coupled with the construction experience of the key staff members.

Joe and Nancy Gill worked as tennis teaching pros as well as tennis directors before starting WESTBORO TENNIS SURFACES in 1979. Ten years of club association and tournament experience laid the groundwork when it came to talking to prospective court customers about ball bounce, court speed and various court surfaces. Thanks to the encouragement, support and, labor (when necessary) of family and friends, 2020 marks the 41 st year of WESTBORO TENNIS SURFACES. However, it is the valued customers and their "Word of Mouth" recommendations that are responsible for the growth and success of WESTBORO TENNIS.

With our own team of experienced site contractors and diversified crew, WESTBORO TENNIS SURFACES can take control of complicated site work and perform all facets of construction and reconstruction from excavation, to paving, fencing, and color surfacing. The self contained nature of the crew coupled with the owners "on site" involvement allow for any owner/contractor decisions that may occur.

Joe and Nancy along with the WESTBORO TENNIS SURFACES crew take care of the annual soft court reconditioning business in April and May, which includes approximately 200+ courts. The bulk of the work for the remainder of the year consists of color surfacing, asphalt paving and fencing involving approximately 100 courts.

As our customers know, we as owners are very much an "on-the-job" part of our courts. We have enjoyed doing business throughout New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Our business and tennis association with Mid Pac Tennis Construction (Seattle, Washington) has taken us and our staff to the Hawaiian Islands where we have been involved in a number of tennis court projects since 1986.
